EXPLORING THE FUTURE OF TEACHING

The Teaching Report

PBS LearningMedia

Classroom video, interactive media & lesson resources

PBS LearningMedia brings educational media from PBS stations and partners into classroom teaching.

Who it serves

Pre-K–12 teachers looking for subject-specific media and supporting classroom activities.

Resources and services

Videos, interactive resources, lesson plans and curated collections across core subjects, including history, literacy, mathematics and science.

Where to start

Search for a specific concept and grade level rather than starting with a whole program. Examine the accompanying questions and activities to decide what students should do before, during and after viewing. The library supplies media and lesson components; teachers still select and sequence them for their curriculum.

Access and considerations

PBS Wisconsin describes the library as free to use. Check each resource’s usage conditions and available features. Preview any media on the devices and network students will use before planning a lesson around it.
