EXPLORING THE FUTURE OF TEACHING

The Teaching Report

PBLWorks

Project-based learning design & school implementation

PBLWorks offers project-based learning resources, professional learning and support for schools and districts.

Who it serves

Teachers planning projects, instructional coaches and leaders supporting project-based learning across classrooms.

Resources and services

A PBL resource library, project-planning tools, rubrics, webinars, online workshops, school coaching, district support and the PBLWorks TEACH curriculum offering.

Where to start

Start with the Project Planner and Project Design Rubric when turning a topic into a learning sequence. Identify subject goals, evidence of learning and time for feedback before choosing a final product. A compelling project idea still needs realistic teaching time and support for student collaboration.

Access and considerations

The PBL Library provides free tools, while professional learning and products have separate terms. The library currently notes that it is under construction, so check the available collection rather than assuming every resource is present.
